Disorders Most Commonly treated

Psychiatric Evaluation

A Comprehensive Initial Psychiatric Evaluation/Assessment is scheduled for about 1-1 1/2 hour with one of our Psych providers, to get very good detailed information about your mental health and medical history. In addition to using assessment tools such as PHQ-9, GAD-7 and PCL-5, we carefully and thoroughly assess your symptoms to come up with the best possible diagnoses for you and the best possible treatment plans specifically for you.

Medication Management

This is generally a follow up visit scheduled for 30 minutes (more if needed). The goal is to go over the medication(s) prescribed, discuss the pros and the cons of the medication(s); and if needed to make the appropriate dose adjustment. Brief supportive and CBT therapy can also be used during this visit.

Psychotherapy

This meeting is generally scheduled for 45-60 minutes. During this meeting, the patient is allowed the safe and confidential space to verbalize their feelings and emotions in a non-judgmental manner, this patient will be supported and provided with the appropriate skills to help manage their emotions/challenges. The treatment modalities that may be used are Humanistic Therapy, Supportive Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, (IPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which vary from patient to patient based on their specific needs.
